What are the admission procedures?

What are the payment methods offered?
HKUE accepts Cash, EPS, Credit Card and Cheque for tuition fee payment.
Are the courses offered by Universal College of Higher Education in collaboration with overseas institute registered under the Education Bureau?
Courses offered by Universal College of Higher Education in collaboration with Melbourne Polytechnic and the University of Tasmania are of high quality, and they have the same recognition as the equivalent on-campus courses at the overseas institute.
These courses are registered under the Non-Local Higher and Professional Education (Regulation) Ordinance.
Is there any financial assistance for Universal College of Higher Education students?
Extended Non-means-tested Loan Scheme (ENLS) administered by the Hong Kong Government Student Finance Office (SFO) is available for application by Universal College of Higher Education students.
What is the application procedure for Extended Non-means-tested Loan?
The relevant loan documents which can be downloaded from the Student Finance Office’s website.
If the information you provide is complete and all the required documents submitted are in order and the programme(s) / course(s) pursued is / are already included in the Register, you may normally be notified of the result within 3 weeks by mail from the date of complete information submission of your application to the Student Finance Office.
If you do not receive the Approval Letter after 3 weeks from the date of complete information submission of your application, please contact the Student Finance Office immediately.

Can I go to Australia for further studies?
Our full-time programmes are equivalent to that awarded in Australia locally.
Should I retake the whole course if I failed in the Programme?
Our course structure in higher education is unlike a typical secondary school.
Students should retake only the subject / unit they failed; they will not be required to retake the whole course.
What is the learning mode in Universal College of Higher Education?
Course assessment does not focus on examinations, but on tests, assignments, group projects, classroom discussions and participation. Without the pressure of heavy workload and examinations, we aim to build a concept of “Real learning but not earning points.”
