The major problems of the education system in Hong Kong are that the teacher-student ratio is unbalanced, and all parties are unduly examination oriented. AMEC adopts a small-group learning method. Through the four-step learning process of planning, executing, applying and reflecting, students can obtain a better understanding of the concepts, and can practically apply them to their daily lives. This teaching method allows students to tackle problems under different circumstances efficiently.
In view of the phenomenon that the lack of work experience among a lot of Hong Kong students, AMEC not only teaches the normal curriculum, but provides placement opportunities in large corporation, including listed companies. This definitely gives AMEC’s students a distinctive advantage.

The classes in AMEC are conducted primarily in English, but we understand that a lot of Hong Kong students may not be able to cope with an English learning environment, thus, teachers in AMEC will use Chinese as a secondary medium of instruction, so that our students can learn in the most effective way.
Since the English standard of a considerable number of Hong Kong students is unacceptable for society, AMEC particularly implemented an English improvement course, covering both daily and business usages of English in order to improve students’ English standard and their competitiveness.
