Do the courses offered by HKUE in collaboration with overseas institute require registration under the Education and Manpower Bureau?
Courses offered by HKUE in collaboration with Northern Melbourne Institute of TAFE are of high quality and have the same recognition as the equivalent on-campus courses at the overseas institute. These courses are registered under the Non-Local Higher and Professional Education (Regulation) Ordinance.
What is the qualification of the lecturers?
We have been recruiting the best qualified teachers to deliver our programs and courses. Our teachers, of which some are renowned experts/ professionals in the territory, possess relevant education background, qualifications, and are equipped with solid work experience, supported by proven track records in their respective fields and expertise.
Is there any financial assistance for HKUE students?
The Non-means Tested Loan Scheme (NLS) administered by the Hong Kong Government Student Financial Assistance Agency (SFAA) is available for application by AEMC students. The maximum financial assistance under the NLS is equivalent to the total tuition fees payable to school in the academic year.
What is the application procedure for Non-means Tested Loan?
If you wish to apply for the NLS loans, you should complete the NLS application form (SFAA141) or (SFAA141C) and the relevant loan documents which are obtainable from the Agency, your institutions (if applicable) and the District Offices. You may also download the application form from the Agency's website.
If the information provided is complete and all the required documents submitted are in order, and the programme(s)/course(s) pursued is/are already included in the Agency's Register of Eligible Courses and Course Providers, you may normally be notified of the result in 3 weeks by mail from the Agency's receipt of your application. If you do not receive the Approval Letter within 3 weeks from the date of the Agency's receipt of your application, please contact the Agency immediately.

What is the learning mode in HKUE?
Course assessment does not focus on examinations, but on tests, assignments, group projects, classroom discussions and participation.
Without the pressure of heavy workload and examinations, we aim to build a concept of "Real learning but not earning points."
Can I go to Australia for further studies?
Our Professional Diploma in Business Marketing course was equivalent to Northern Melbourne Institute of TAFE. Students holding the transcript are qualified to study in Australia. And the semesters commence every February and July in Australia.
How many payment method I can choose?
Our school accepted Cash, EPS and cheque for paying tuition fee.
Should I retake the whole course if I failed in the program?
Our course structure in higher education is not like typical secondary school. Students should retake only the subject/ unit they failed, they will not be required to retake the whole course.
