Advanced Diploma in Journalism and Public Relations - Ng Hoi Man, Car
I was excited on the first school day because the advanced diploma course of journalism and public relations here at Asia Management Education Centre is free from the limits of traditional courses. I was able to experience a brand new, yet interesting course.
My class size is small, and this allowed me to be more involved the learning. There was a lot of interaction among students. The teachers are highly qualified and they no longer focus on the teaching of comprehension skills, instead, they share with us their working experience and help us understand the theories better through discussions. Learning is not just about passages in textbooks, but theories that are applicable in real life. I learned from school in the past six months that we should not study just for coping with exams, but for our own interest.

There is a saying ‘Time is Money’. In a wink, there is less than a year to go before I finish the Advanced Diploma in Journalism and Public Relations. I still remember how uneasy I was with my schoolmates during the very first moment in the classroom. Small class teaching has been well-practised in school. The conversations with teachers have made me learn a lot. They are all top figures in the journalism field. Under their earnest and kind guidance, we all have made remarkable progress. Although I used to have doubts about myself, people and things around me, my mindset has now been changed. I do want to develop my full potential in the remaining time and realize my ambition of being a news announcer.
Professional Diploma of Business (Marketing) - Kwan Fu Wing, Nathan
The end of the torturous CE has also signified the end of my secondary school life. I had no intention to repeat at all. This was probably because I didn’t want to waste my time in school. However, I understand that a university degree is just like an admission ticket to the society and a Form Five graduate would not go far in life.

Foreseeing how vague and insecure my future would be, I started to feel anxious. Then a friend introduced the courses at Asia Management Education Centre to me. I found that they were very suitable for me and thus I decided to sign up for the courses here.

My school life here is totally different from that in my secondary school. The things I learn during lessons are much associated with our daily life, and they are applicable to the real world situations as well. Moreover, teachers would share their experience with us and teach us essential survival skills in the society. I am glad to study here and I really want to thank Asia Management Education Centre for providing me with such a good way out.

Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management - Chan Ka Chun
When I first entered Asia Management Education Centre, I had little interaction with my schoolmates and my sense of belonging to the school was very weak. But my attitude has changed greatly over the past seven months. The teachers’ cordial and earnest guidance created a stress-free and enjoyable learning environment for me.
I was confused and nervous on the first school day because the teachers were all using English to conduct lessons. But I soon got used to it with my resolution to learn!!

My CE results were not satisfactory, therefore I signed up for the courses here at Asia Management Education Centre after my friend introduced them to me. The course I enrolled was Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management. And, in order to improve my English, I also signed up for the Diploma of Business Communication.

I have been studying here for six months now. I do think teachers here are highly qualified. One of the teachers of Hotel management has worked in the hotel industry for many years and he is able to answer all my queries related to the industry. His clear demonstrations and guidance have been a great help in the learning process and I am really grateful about this.

For the time being, I have English classes on every Wednesday and Friday. In fact, I always dozed off during English lessons when I was in secondary school. However, realizing the importance of a good command of English, I resolved to complete the course.

The teacher who has aroused my interest in the course is Melody. She looks after every student in class, regardless of our English standard. From time to time she would lend us some supplementary grammar reference books and correct our mistakes. I will repay her by putting my utmost effort in this course.
